Australian artist Vernon Bowden recycles materials from such unlikely sources as the Coca-Cola company and the US military, reducing (or is it elevating?) titans of industry to wearable art. The "Bad Juju" series makes jewellery out of bomb release mechanisms while the "Barbie" series turns Diet Coke cans into doll heads (as in the rings shown above).
